The winter poem

Rain and wind, and wind and rain.

Will the Summer come again? Rain on houses, and on the street, Wetting all the people's feet. Rain and wind, and wind and rain.

Snow and sleet, and sleet and snow. Will the Winter ever go? Perhaps even it now shall and warm will come nowHail and ice, and ice and hail, Water frozen in the puddles And all over the cars

Some day spring will comeBut for now it's cold and damp, And serving people under umbrellas,As winter has come again. Inspired by the New Zealand Otago daily times
